Essay 1-03b: Language Learning Presentation

This is my language learning story and plans.

Have a lunch!!!

I went to have a lunch with my friends, Akino and Riko, Azusa. We went to Stake house Yodogawa, and we ate a stake. Ruka works there, so I wanted to go there. I ate a stake for the first time, so I impressed to eat it. It taste was so good!!! I finished eating it fastly. I want to go there again!

After that, we wanted to eat something sweet. So we went to Amamiya. I went there for the first time. There were many deserts in Amamiya, so I could not decide own desert easily. As a result, I decided a warabi-mochi french toast. It was so good, and I want to go there again. I was shopping, too. I bought two T-shirts and a piace. I was so glad, and I want to go shopping in summer vacation.

Work

I work in the pasta and pizza restaurant. I always think many dishes are very delicious, so I am hungry. The shop owner is very kind and interesting, so I feel like enjoy. The shop is the best fun in I have worked all places.

And I did not think working is fun, because working felt so hard. For example, I worked in restaurant, and the restaurant was so busy. Specially, the restaurant was so busy on Saturday and Sunday, so I did not have a free day. I was so tired, and I cannot patient the job. So I quited the job in half a year. And I worked in convenience store, the job was so easy. But I got tired easily, so I quited the job in a year.

So I think I want to precious that I have the job, and I want to continue my job. I want to eat pasta and pizza someday.

BR 1-15: The Old Woman who swallowed a Fly (Kate Davies, 2008)

Review

This story is about an old woman. She swallowed someone else, for example, a fly, a spider, a bird, a cat, a dog, a goat, a cow and a horse. She wanted to swallow which see a fly, so she swallowed many things. Finally, her stomache was so big, but she did not die. One day, she swallowed a horse, so her stomache is too big and she could not stand. So she dead, of course.

I thought this story is strange, because the old woman swallowed many animals and insects. And, I thought she is so horrible because she did not die easily. So this story was interesting for me.

BR 1-13: Stories of DOGS (Russell Punter, 2007)

Review

This story is about dogs. First, the story is about Sprite. Sprite decided to run in a dog show at the local park. One day, Sprite waited his owner, Nick during Nick go into the pet store. Suddenly a man  stepped Sprite' s paw, so Sprite complained of pain. But the man ran away somewhere. Sprite and Nick arrived at the show, and there were many dogs in the park. The judges examined the dogs, and contest was held. But Sprite continued to fail, because he was stepped his paw by a man. So Sprite felt down. Then the gold cup was gone, so everyone confused. Suddenly, Sprite got a whiff of a smell he knew, and the man was who stepped Sprite' s paw. And the man will steal the gold cup, so Sprite catched him. Sprite won first prize for catching the thief. Second, the story is about Titch. Titch wanted to be a top sheepdog like Bryn, so Titch tried to work a sheep. But it was so difficult for Titch. One day, Titch discovered to fall down Owen and Bryn. So Titch saved them, and Titch won a medal at last. Titch was so glad.

The stories were so interesting, and I hope that my dogs to be like Sprite and Titch.

Patrick said, ”I can' t believe it!”

Review

There was a prince who wanted to marry a princess, and his name is Patrick. He decided to go on a journey with his cousin, Freddy. On the way, they met Peg, and she said, ”I want to go on a journey together!” So they went on a journey three people. At first, they visited a witch. She gave some conditions them which to become a Patrick' s princess. They looked for a princess under the conditions, but they could not find a princess. And they came back to their castle. Peg was a Patrick' s homemaker, so she had to do many jobs. She slept the bed after she finished to do the jobs. Then Patrick noticed that she is a my princess. After that, they married, and they spent happily. 

I thought a kindness is so important, because I thought a person of kindness people become a happy. So I want to be a kindness person.

My favorite singers

I like listening to music. My favorite singer is Arashi and One Direction, Taylor Swift. Arashi is so cool and interesting. and, their concert is so fun and exciting. My mother likes them, too, so we always go to the concert together. They are popular in Japan, so the concert's goods lane is so long. When I was a junior high school student, I liked them. So I always impress their concert. I wish they continue to sing ever.

One Direction and Taylor Swift are great voice and song, so their song makes me happy. I went to One Direction' s concert last November. My seat was so far to them, so I could not see them. But I could enjoy so much, and I sang with them. So I was so excited. I went to Taylor Swift' s concert, too. She was so cute, her song was so good. I impressed who she was in front of me, and I enjoyed her concert so much. I want to go to their concert again.

In this November, Arashi' s concert will be held. I want to go to the concert, but the tickets of their concert can not get easily. So I ever want to go to the concert this year because I could not go to their concert. So I will do many good things.

Review

One day, Wilf and Chip made a rocket ship. They wanted to be a spacemen, so they played to use the rocket. So, Floppy wanted to get in the rocket ship with them, but they said, "Go away, Floppy."  They played the computer game in their room because it began to rain. The game was called 'Red Planet'. Suddenly, they pulled into the computer game, and there was a real rocket. So they went inside the rocket, and they took off. They were so surprise, and they played in the planet. And they wore some spacesuits and rode a space buggy. They went out on the planet, and they met many aliens. They had a good time, and Wilf and Chip came true their dream. The adventure was good memory for them.

I want to go to the planet, too. But I am afraid of aliens, so I do not want to meet aliens. I hope I go to the planet someday.

BR 1-11: Superdog (Roderick Hunt, 1993)

Everyone said, "This dog really is superdog".

Review

This story is about a dog, the dog' s name is Floppy. Floppy lived with Kipper and Biff, Chip. One day, they watched a tv show. The program' s name is "Dog of the Year Show", so they were so excited because there were many excellent dogs on tv program. And they began to train Floppy like the excellent dogs, but Floppy wanted to sleep. They went to swimming school, so Floppy could sleep well at last. Floppy has dreamed to become a superman, for example, saved a baby and grabbed a thief, held a boy and dogs. So Floppy became a charmer, and Floppy called everyone "SUPERMAN". But Floppy was woken up by Biff, so Floppy returned to reality. And they said Floppy to run off again, so Floppy ran into the park and hid inside a giant pipe. Floppy will be not able to become a superman into reality.

Floppy takes after my dog because my dog cannot do anything, too. So I felt Floppy is so cute, and I like Floppy. Also this story was interesting. If my dog is a superman, I am so glad, but I thought my dog is so cute that is not superman.
